The Church's teaching on social justice is based in scripture and well documented throughout church history. The presentation will also include a discussion on prison ministry and why it is one of the two priorities for Bishop Estevez and in turn for all Christians. He dedicated his Annual Pastoral Letter to the topic of justice reform and fair treatment of our neighbors behind bars. As director of prison ministry for the Diocese of St. Augustine, Dcn. Corky will provide updates on the scope of prison ministry in our Diocese and resources available to help promote social justice in our community and in our Diocese.
