We are so very grateful to welcome Fr. Clay Ludwig back to our Parish. Fr. Clay spent last summer with us and recently completed his Theology Degree program in Rome. This is Fr. Clay’s first assignment as a Parochial Vicar. I know he will be welcomed warmly by all and will serve our Parish with great zeal.
Requiem Mass for Fr. Bernie
On behalf of the family of Fr. Bernie Ahern and members of the CHRP Ministry team, we invite you to join us on Saturday, July 31st at 10:30am for a special Requiem Mass in honor of our beloved Fr. Bernie. Following the Mass, we will proceed to St. Joseph Parish Cemetery where we will bless the grave of Fr. Bernie. We invite you to join us in the Cody Center afterwards for a reception in his honor.
Over the past year a devoted group of parishioners have put together a book dedicated to Fr. Bernie and the jokes he loved to share and include in his homilies. The book will be available at the reception as well as at all Masses that weekend. Proceeds from book sale will go to support Phase II of our Capital Campaign: The Legacy of Fr. Bernie.
Sunday August 1st, Bishop Estevez will join us to preside at the 8:00am Mass. Following Mass Bishop will bless the newly renovated Little Angels Room which has been renamed in honor of Fr. Bernie. Bishop will also unveil the new plaque honoring Fr. Bernie.
Remember Grandparents & the Elderly, Sunday July 25th
The Holy Father has announced the first World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly to be celebrated annually on the 4th Sunday of July. The decision to honor and celebrate the contribution of grandparents and the elderly of our families and societies has come at a time marked by pandemic and by the suffering of our older generations. The theme chosen by the Holy Father, “I am with you always”, clearly expresses that, during the pandemic and during all times, every parish community wishes to be with the elderly always.

Beginning Monday, August 2nd, our Parish Offices will permanently relocate to the Cody Center. We have been working these past weeks preparing the new workspaces and I look forward to welcoming you to our new office location. The phone number for the office as well as the mailing address will remain the same.
