Parish Medical Mission to Honduras

Dates: 1/31/2014-2/9/2014

We need dentists, nurses and helpers! We also need a pharmacist! You do not need to speak Spanish. You do need a valid passport. Cost is about $1,700., per volunteer. If you aren't able to volunteer to go with our team, please pray for the team, help collect the supplies we need and donate funds to our annual humanitarian, medical mission to the poor people of this very impoverished country! Donated funds buy all our medicines and we need about $10,000., just for the meds! We already have 21 confirmed volunteers and need 24 volunteers for a financially successful mission. We can take as many as 30 team members, so we have space available.

(Friends is a 501(c) 3, tax exempt group working with our parish in this medical mission effort. This will be the tenth year we have traveled to Honduras to help the poor people, our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Please pray for the 2,000 people we will serve!)

Items needed for the Honduras Medical Mission

In preparation for the upcoming 2014 Medical Mission trip to Honduras, the Council of Catholic Women will be collecting these supplies:

Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
SNACK-SIZE Zip lock plastic bags
Multi-Vitamins for children and adults (No gummies please)
Acetometaphin for children and adults
*Prayer support for the people we serve, and the team

Please, no prescription drugs, minerals or medical supplies
