Note #1
In the past few months our program of beautification and cleanup has yielded a few praises; however, we know we have a long way to go. Many of our grave sites have been brought into compliance with the cemetery Rules and Regulations and we are pleased with the overall reaction and understanding. More work needs to be done.
Begining Oct.1,2015, we plan to bring graves and overall conditions into further compliance. This includes concrete benches, shrines, grave covers and adornments that are located on adjoining sites or interfere with our mowing and cemetery care operations. All items will be removed in accordance with the adopted Rules and Regulations. These items will be stored next to our maintenance facility, should you wish to claim.
YOU CAN HELP! If you would like between now and Sept.30th, you can remove non- compliant items prior to our actions. Thank you for your understanding.
Note #2
We have recently completed a grave inventory of all graves used and available in our Parish Cemetery. This has included a complete land survey and the laying out of the cemetery addition behind the Divine Mercy House. We are currently adding this information to a cemetery management database in order to help us reconcile records of owned and available grave sites.
WE CAN USE YOUR HELP HERE. In order to help us in verifying and reconciling our database, if you own or have copies of deeds for grave sites located in the old cemetery (that area between the main entrance and the CrossShrine),wouldyoupleasesharethemwithus. Either mail a copy to us at the Parish Administrative Office or drop them by the office (staff will gladly make a copy). Thank you to those that have already supplied copies and for your help.
